Wow I just made a very similar comment. This feels like a product decision that works against your users - especially paying users. I'm an animator on a team of designers who don't need to interact directly with Lottie. They shouldn't be required to pass through a login wall just to see what I'm working on. And alternatively, I shouldn't have to publish my animations to a large public feed in order to easily show co-workers my progress.

This is a change from the last update that added that as a feature? Is it possible to share and allow anyone to view without logging in?

That's right. Viewers are required to have a LottieFiles account to view the publicly shared animations as well.
You can find the option to share an animation publicly from the Share button the animation detail screen, as shown in the screenshot below.

haris: Am I correct in understanding that 'Publish to public' posts the animation into a large public feed, or is that not the case? I want to be able to send animations to co-workers without needing them to go through a login wall, and a lot of these animations are pre-launch and should definitely NOT be showing up in a public feed somewhere.
